Tags!
3 posts in one day? Think I need a lie down in a darkened room! These tags are for the CSF March tag swap, which im hosting. Im ashamed to say that this is the first tag swap I've taken part in this year. I blame this working for a living. Anyway, these are my three tags
The first one I embossed then sprayed with purple glimmer mist. The main image is Paperartsy. The flower I created by simply stamping the same corner 4 times and putting them together
For the second one I used glimmer mists again and stamped an image of Simon and Lola. I then added a smaller tag (Paperartsy) with the word 'happy' on.
My final tag! Again, out came the glimmer mists. I stamped and embossed with clear embossing powder some flowers. I then embossed the word 'happy' with Timmy's distress powders (which I totally cant get the hang of!). The image is from Third Coast Stampers (see here for the link).
She also qualifies me for the Lots to Do challenge as this week it's masks, and, as you can see
she's wearing one!
Thanks for looking

Birthday card
Well my lovely husband was 40 in January (although he would definately tell you that he dosent look it, he certainly dosent act it thats for sure LOL) so I have finally got round to blogging his card! Now as you probably know, I am crap at making cards. This, coupled with the fact that at the time I had an infection that was affecting my brain (but not my mentality LOL) I think it's not half bad. Sorry it's taken me sooooo long to get it blogged (his birthday was the 15th Jan!) Time just runs away from me these days. ps: He is MUCH older than me :o)
Altered playing card
This is for a swap on UKS hosted by Hazel. Now I started out making ATC's from playing cards, but I didnt want to do that! Instead I decided to make a shrine to my playing card, luckily the only card I could find was an ace and not just a boring number LOL. I stamped my shrine (which came from here) and embossed it using brown embossing powder. I then rubbed perfect pearls over the top and added a charm.
When I added my playing card, it looked a bit boring, so I coloured it with alcohol inks and 'eh voila!' i just hope the recepient likes my homage to the humble paying card!
Thanks for looking everyone x

Stamp board brooch
This brooch is for a swap hosted by Sid over on UKS. For this I re-visited some of my old Paperartsy stamps, mainly because the larger image fitted almost perfectly on my piece of stampboard LOL

When is a canvas not a canvas?
Well technically it is still a canvas, i just wanted a more catchier title to my post than simply 'canvas' LOL This is for a swap on the Lots To Do forum. Instead of using the front of the canvas I simply turned it over and used the back. First I gesso'ed all the wood part then used the stamped tissue paper technique to create a background in the space behind the flower. The flower is a flora doodle (yes I am guilty of saving these for best but when actually is best?) I painted the 'frame' part with metallic brown acrylic paint, stamped onto the paint with a script stamp then stamped and watercoloured some flowers, covered them with glossy accents and punched out a butterfly motif!!
I actually really like it! I think Im tempted to make one for mothers day but know my mother will have no-where to put one!
Thanks for stopping by
