ATC Art Dolls

These are for a swap hosted by Sue over on Lots to Do. I'd never seen and ATC doll before she suggested it but you can get more details on them from here.

My first one is called 'King for a Day'. I'm sure you can recognise the image as Henry VIII (obviously he was king for longer than a day!) I chose him because those legs just made me think of him?! I used a Tim Holtz crown stencil to create the body of the ATC. All the arms and legs are zettiology stamps.

The second one is called 'Time Flies', so instead of arms I gave her wings!

The final one is called 'Green Eyed Monster'. I love that eye stamp but don't use it nearly as much as I like! I think it's a Lost Coast stamp.

Anyhow, have a fabulous day!

Oh Alice challenge!

Wow, a whole week since my last post!! Not that I've been busy (much!) just that the weather has been to nice to stay indoors!

This card is for this weeks Oh Alice challenge which is a sketch. I thought I would challenge myself and use one of my old stamps that I havent used for an age! I decided I wanted the card to be quite soft and shabby looking, hence the colours. Instead of using my copics I used colouring pencils instead. The papers are all Stampin' Up, which of course is why they all match LOL

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday :o)

The sketch is from Mojo Monday. This weeks theme's over at CS and WW are to use the colours violet, white, ivory and gold and to use embossing. Embossing is also the theme on the Lots to Do challenge this week
Not sure if it's one of my best but it'll work! ;o)

Sunday and Tuesday!

This piece fits in with 2 challenges!! This weeks Sunday Stampers is 'Lace' (ok so it's not exactly lace but a piece of an old doily, but it looks similar LOL)
It also fits in with the Tuesday Taggers cos there theme is.... to make a tag!! I decided to 'step away from the rubber stamps' and made a college! The images are from Catnip Studios.

Thanks for looking! :o)

Inspired!!

Today I was totally inspired so came up with this! The background is inspired by the very talented Paula. I used distress inks to create the background then stamped using inks and gold embossing powder.

The main focal point was inspired by Barbara from
Clarity Stamps Create and Craft show that was on on Sunday. She stamped and embossed some velum, then dry embossed the image again from the back. Well, seeing as how I have a drawer full of vellum (show me a crafter who dosent!) I thought I'd give it try!

The card itself was actually inspired by tattoo's!! I am totally addicted to the show
Miami Ink (anyone else?) Infact, over the Easter hol's I got Tim Holtz's skull stamp from the Anthology set tattoed on the back of my neck. Anyhow, I digress. The stamp is one I've had for ages. I usually only use the swirly bit of the dragon but thought I would give him centre stage for a change. I totally cannot remember who makes him though!!

I added some felt ribbon at the bottom and some gems from my stash.

This card also fits in with this weeks
Allsorts challenge, which is to not use ANY design papers, which is what I've done!!!

Have a fabulous day!

Happy Easter!!

And what better way to celebrate Easter than with a .................. Christmas card! This is for the Winter Wonderland challenge. This week is a sketch BUT, Father Christmas also has to be included in there too!!

The papers are from Stampin' Up. The stamped image is a Whiff of Joy stamp, he's so cute!

Anyhow, here's hoping you have a great Easter
