Memo board

This is for a swap hosted by Ju on Crafting Corner I made this using a canvas so I would be able to put pins into it. I covered it using 12 x 12 papers. The pins I made by punching out a flower shape and gluing it to the head of a map pin - pretty easy stuff!

my board is for Nicky

I hope she likes it!!

Bottletops!

These little babys are for a bottle top swap! I didnt want to do 'just' the actual bottle tops so I made 4 of them into fridge magnets! The final one I incorporated into a 'vintage' postcard for a bit of fun!

Random Acts of Kindness

"Give Away and Pass It On" - Random Acts of Kindness Alert - my turn to pass this on after participating with Nancy. The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations so please read carefully:

- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make.

- What I pick will be just for you.

- It'll be done this year (2009).

- You have no clue what it's going to be. It will be something made in the real world and not something cyber. It may be a handmade card, something lovely made out of paper, beads, or a random treasure (like candy!). Who knows?

- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange and, in return, all you need to do is post this text into a blog of your own and make 5 things for 5 others. Please e-mail me with your address. My e-mail address is in my profile.Won't this be fun????Please remember to post your own RAK in order to make the game complete ladies (and gents :o) ).

Canvas Winner

The winner of my backwards canvas is Patsy! Well done Patsy, I'll post it out to you sometime this week

Birthday card

Well I've had a few days off this week so had a MAMMOTH birthday card making session! Now, those of you that know me or are familiar with my cards will no doubt know that I have no idea what colours match. Im not colour blind (maybe I just have bad fashion sense LOL) but I have no idea what clashes and what tones go together. That was until I discovered Stampin up cardstock! I love it as it ALL MATCHES!!!!!

This card has been made using their cardstock and their ribbon! It also uses their stamps - Happy Everything and From the Garden. If your interested in any of their products you can contact Shazza or Jo

Thanks for taking the time to look

Canvas-tastic!

Another backwards canvas! I've had this one lying around for a while. I did paint the front but couldnt decided what to do with, so I just turned it around. As you can see, Im into 'paper' flowers at the moment. I used an old copy of 'Northanger Abbey' by Jane Austen as Im never gonna read it! (Just dont tell my mate Ruth LOL)

However, this canvas dosent have a home to go too (let me hear ya say 'awwww'). As a special easter gift from me to you Im offering this canvas to anyone who would like it. All you have to do is say in your comment that you could offer it a good home. (You dont have too, you might think it's aload of pants! ) I will chose a home on Easter Monday at 10pm using a random selection thingumybob (ie: my hubby will pick)

Thanks for taking the time to comment

Crafty Saturday!

I finished work yesterday and am not back till Tuesday so have a few days to get crafty!!! I made this little notepad using a gorgeous Leanne Ellis designed stamp. The pad and pencil both came from ASDA so were totally bargaintastic! I sawed the pencil in half (as it was too big for my pad!) and covered it with paper that matched the paper piecing on the notepad cover.

This next piece is made from a bamboo tile. I stuck a vintage image of a girl and horse on some backing paper then attached them to the tile. I used glossy accents (I luurve this stuff!) to coat it and give it some protection. I then threaded beads through the holes and added a jump ring so it can be hung. I've attached it to some ribbon but it could be attached to anything!

Thanks for looking
