Return to the Dark Side

Well after all that cuteness I had a lie down in a darkend room! Alison on LTD Forum is hosting a 9-4-9 swap well, I havent done one of these for ages so thought I would join. I wanted a grungy, vintage, moody theme so used my witch stamp. I didnt, however, want it to be halloweeny. Hope you like it!

Random Act of Kindness!

More cuteness! (dont look Sam LOL). Remember my random act of kindness
Well the ONLY person to sign up was Denise
So here is her RAK, I hope you like it Denise!

I used a board book which I found in a charity shop. I peeled off the shiny covering paper and recovered it with papers from Stampin' Up

I used stamps from The Greetings Farm, Stamping Bella and

Cute AND colour co-ordinated?!

So I think I've been body snatched! Yes that right, cute AND colour co-ordinated! Bearing in mind that someone once asked me if I was colour blind upon seeing one of my cards (Im not by the way!) This card is for the Farm Fresh Friday challenge (A challenge too! whats the world comming too!)

So the school holidays mean I have a bit more free time (but not much boo hoo).

This card uses a Miss Anya stamp. The flowers are from Paperartsy's Egg & Nog and the papers and card (and sentiment) are from Stampin' Up

Thanks for looking

Merry Christmas!

Ok ok I know it's still AGES until the big day but if you remember from last year I was santa's little helper from the end of November so ended up rushing to make any cards! Plus, this weeks One Stop Craft Challenge os 'Christmas in July', so here they are!

This is my quick one! I stamped and embossed a stamp (from goodness knows where!), added a bell and mat and layered it for a monochrome card. The merry christmas is an Autumn Leaves stamp.

This card took a bit more time. It uses a Whiff of Joy stamp that I coloured in with Copics and distress inks. The sentiment is an Anita's stamp I've had for ages, in fact, I think it came from Hobbycrafts bargain bin!! The backing paper is Dovecraft.

A bit different but still festive! This one uses another Whiff of Joy stamp (Im lovin' these at the mo, mainly cos Im lovin' colouring in for some strange reason. Although how hard is it to keep in the lines once your over the age of 12!) I think the backing paper is another Dovecraft set, it looks similar but Im not sure. the sentiment came from the big craft show at the Birmingham NEC last November, probably off that cheapo pound stall cos I never normally buy sentiments LOL

Thanks for look and, if you read the post, reading my ramblings LOL

Just cards!

Birthday card this time. Again, cards are something I struggle with but I think I have managed to co-ordinate the colours :o$ The stamp is from Sugar Nellie - arrrgh; I know but it seems as though the cute bug has caught me too!!! I suppose it's better than pig flu which my OH is convinced he has!

Thanks for taking the time to look

A bird in the hand

I made this wall hanging for the variety swap on Crafty Corner. The heart shapes are made from MDF. I used my trusty copy of Northanger Abbey to collage the wood then inked it up using my TH distress inks. The stamped birds are from Elusive Images Dawn Chorus set. The stickers are Dovecraft one's that I've had ages!

This also means I can enter it in the Crafty Creations challenge which this week is birds! Might sneekily also enter it in the Lots to Do challenge which this week is 'college', and this sort of is LOL

Thanks for taking the time to look

Another swap - naturally!

The theme for this one is Nature (not Naturists! LOL). It's hosted by Sid for UKS forum. I was TOTALLY foxed by this at first until I wore my shell earrings. A-ha! Great idea, so here are my shell earrings (please note no snails were harmed in the making of this jewellery)

SORRY its a bit of a crappy pic, couldnt get the camera to focus on the bloomin things! I made some holes in the shells to thread the findings through them dipped them in UTEE in my melt pot just to make them a bit more robust. I then added some beads and eh voila!

Christmas in July!!!

Unbelieveable!! I've spent the most of this hot afternoon making christmas ATC's for a swap! LOL Oh well, at least I wont get sunburn

These were made using a mixture of my fav Elusive Images christmas stamps. The reindeer one uses a fabulous word stamp from Crafty Individuals
This one I made into a sort of mini ATC booklet using again my Elusive Images stamps.
Hope whoever receives thems like them!!
As they all include stamping I can also enter them in this weeks Lots to Do challenge, which is to include stamping in your work!

Finally........

I've managed to do some crafting!!! It's been my first weekend off for ages and too hot for allotment duties!

These are for a swap hosted by Sue and yes your right, they are lids from jars!! Novel huh!
