Now that the day is finally here I can blog the presents I made! I made Hilda a domino book and an altered matchbox doll (cant you tell these are my new obsession!) I just love making them LOL
UK Stampers forum is hosting an altered art swap using bottle caps. The idea is to decorate one or more bottletop and include it in a piece of work of your choice, so here is mine. She has a bottle top face and a body made from a matchbox. I opened out the matchbox and covered it with paper. The wings I made from mountboard and a stencil from a leftover section of grungeboard, which I inked up and stamped and embossed them using a script stamp. Her legs are stamped from a zettiology (?) set of stamps. Sorry the pics are a bit naff!
This postcard is for a swap on Crafting Corner. The idea is to design an A6 postcard of a favorite place or holiday. I chose China as it one of my favorite places.
Wow!! Can you believe it! I have actually done an online challenge. This is my first and, probably my last, challenge piece as normally I simply dont have time. However, I was making this piece for an altered art swap and it just fitted in with the theme over on the Lots to Do Challenge site!
It's a key ring made from stampboard which I stamped using a mixture of distress inks and stazon. I then covered it with glossy accents to give it a shine!
Been ages since I did one of these! By chance I was having a sort out and found a few stuffed in a draw. Then, hey presto, Hazel decided to host an altered domino swap on UK Stampers
So here is my domino brooch. I cant remember where the stamp is from but I know it's a USA based company. I used Sharpie pens to colour in the image, added some crystal stars then used Glossy Accents to seal.
Wow it seems ages since I did any kind of crafty stuff to blog! Here are my christmas pressies that I made people. I used memory glass to make a tree decoration. I think they look pretty fab (and they were bloomin' fidly too!)
