Revisiting old craft stash

I have decided to put myself on a craft spending ban (for how long, who knows? ;op). For these birthday cards I used some papers from a QVC TSV plus a Chris's paperworx cd. One is for a man and the other for a lady.

Tag Book

This book was a 'project' from my friend Caz. She made the book herself using her trusty Bind it All machine. Being as Im currently in my Tim Holtz phase I used Tim's distressing pads to colour the front. Tims stamp for the images and Rhonna's Christmas Swirls (yes I know its not christmas!). On the back I used some daubers in blue and brown, grungeboard and a stamp from Lost Coast Designs.

The tags were made using stamps from lost Coast Designs and River City Rubber Works.

Tim Holtz fat page

This fat page is for someone's birthday. It is in honour of the King of Crafting Sir Timness of Holtz. I downloaded a pic of our king from the net, printed it in black and white and then inked with his walnut stain distress pad. Bit of grungeboard and a couple of epoxy stickers later and its complete

Messy desk

Ok I admit, im not the tidyiest person at the best of times!

CD box

Being on a role from my beer mat box I decided to make one using CD (as I've ran out of beer mats!) Cant make up my mind if it works or not? Its not as stable as the beer mat box but you could still use it for fat pages/ATC storage or even to store CD's I guess!! However, it's not mine to keep but a gift for a friend - unless you all think it's poo that is :oP At least Kitty seems to be impressed!

Beer mat box

OMG this took me ages!!!!!! I used 6 beer mats, covered them with DCWV paper (Once upon a Time) then used my Bind it All machine (did I mention I got one for Christmas ;oP) to put holes in them. I then stamped images using Rhonna Farrer's Christmas swirls (yes I know its not Christmas anymore!) and Crafty Secrets Bird Notes, added some sequins and glitter, eh voila! Then came the hard bit! threading them all together which took ages! The bow on top I made from the left over papers with a pattern I found from a forum I'm on. I hope the recipient will appreciate it (I know they will!) Thanks for looking

Valentine swap

These ATC's are for a valentine swap with a twist. No hearts and no red can be used!! Thought I'd stick with a vintage theme in that case!

Altered tin

This is my final make for Sam's distress swap on the Lots to Do forum. It was a plain silver tin. I've covered it with Tim Holtz papers, used Tim's grungeboard for embelishment as well as some chipboard letters. To give it a distressed feel I sprayed it with memory mist and gave it a coat of yacht varnish.

These tags are for a swap on a forum. The only rule is that you must use a Tim Holtz stylee. They dont show up too well on pics but you can get the general idea (I hope!)
