It's begining to look alot like christmas!

Ok, so it has looked like christmas on my blog for a while! That's only because over the next few weeks Im gonna be mad busy. Next weekend is my last weekend off then it's Santa's grotto again! (that time already LOL)

This wall hanging is for Crafting Corners November variety swap. I made it by using my nestabilities (I love those, why has it taken me soooo long to find them!) The papers are, no surprise, Stampin' Up. The Father Christmas image is a
Crafty Individuals one, and the theme on Winter Wonderland this week is St Nicholas! (although it's not a card!)

Have a great Sunday everyone. Im off to work in a bit - boo! :o)

Gossamer Cornwand

These festive offerings are made using a fabulous digi stamp designed by the immensly talented Amy. She is called Gossamer Cornwand and is available here. She's not really a christmas fairy but the beauty of her is that you can alter her into anything!

For the first card I turned her into a kinda christmas pixie. The papers are Stampin' Up. The bauble stamp is, I think, from Art Journey.

For the 2nd card I turned her into a little frost fairy. Again, I used Stampin' Up papers. The

sentiment is from an Elusive Images CD. This card is, basically, a drag queens dream as it's loaded with glitter (well it is for christmas LOL)

Hope you had a fabulous Sunday. We went to look at some piglets with the idea of getting 2 more for eating. We're now getting 3 and being pig breeders! Ah well, at least it keeps hubby off the streets! :o)

Christmas... but different!!

So I made a christmas card yesterday and it was pure pants!!!! I had no idea where it was going and so it went - into the bin LOL

I thought I would have a change of tack and try something different, so I moved onto christmas decorations!!! The images are from Etsy and they are made using microscope slides (I got about 200 for a fiver off Ebay!) Now this is my first attempt at soldering since I made a circuit board in CDT at school about 20 years ago! (dosent that make me sound ancient :o$) so it's a bit chunky, but I think that all adds to its handmade charm LOL
Sorry about the rubbish picture - webcam again!! My hubby has been taking the camera to work to photograph pollution incidents, how very inconsiderate! lol
Thanks for looking!

Circle Journal!

Over on UKS I've signed up for a circle journal. Havent done one for ages and there is some massive talent on that forum!!!!
The idea is that we all choose a stamp, that stamp goes round with the journal and everyone has to decorate 2 pages using your chosen stamp.

My chosen stamp is a skeleton. I love him but
dont use him nearly enough. Seeing as it's a skelly my journal is titled 'dem bones' (geddit!)
For my first page I decided to do something totally different. I added a skirt from a stamping Bella (Bellarina) and used my shrine stamp to make a large mirror.
My 2nd page is a skelly rock band. Which rock band? Why the
Grateful Dead of course! LOL Thanks for looking :o)
